The first stop at the Čertice rock begins close to Bítov. It offers a view of the former meander of the Dyje River with two bays and a view of the ruins of Cornštejn Castle.
After all, there are more than enough rocks with views of the Dyje river valley around Bítov. Beautiful view from Čertice. Beyond the bridge to the left, the Cornštejn Nature Reserve and stone fields begin. From the parking lot above Cornštejn, you can walk to the advanced bastion with a beautiful view and then to the castle ruins. From the bastion via Cornštejn, you can reach another vantage point, Výří skála. About 100 m from the viewpoint is Hradiště. The name suggests that a fortified hillfort, the predecessor of Bítov Castle, was allegedly located here. On the way back, you will find large areas of snowdrops and rocks covered with ferns in the early spring under the ruins of the castle. After the bridge to the left and into Bítov bay. The last ascent from the dam via switchbacks back to Bítov. Don’t forget good shoes.

You will walk about 7 kilometers in total.
